Careers Inc. is an organization that is dedicated to redressing the imbalances of the past and has played a significant role in removing barriers for the youth to enter the various professions.

Our Career Expo’s covers broad spectrum of careers available in different Sectors. They prove to be an eye opening experience to the youth whereby they will interact with major employers and provide insight on their industries .Educational institutions will explain what courses are critical in the ever changing market place.

Event format

Career Conventions

They Are characterised by various speakers from Government, Corporate and educational institutions to addressing grades 10 to 12 learners at the convention.

The exhibition will be opened to everyone the whole day and runs concurrently to activities of the day.

These are are more sector specific focused more on opportunities available for young people living with disabilities in different sectors and hear various speakers from

Government, Corporate and educational institutions to address 10 to 12 learners on what programs are available for these learners to engage on.

The Expo

The exhibition is a great face to face interactive platform for our youth to meet with bursary mangers, student recruitment officials from universities, private college marketers, enterprise development officers, green practitioners, association talent pool recruiters, sector specific acquisition specialist and many ,more will be opened to everyone the whole day and runs concurrently to activities of the day.

Break away Sessions

The Breakaway sessions are hosted by different organisations that have a mandate to inspire, expose and educate our youth on sectors and industries that need critical skills sets in South Africa. Especially skills development platforms for NEET and career opportunities for youth living with disabilities including youth at risk empowerment opportunities, enterprise development programs, entrepreneurial programs and youth empowerment initiatives for women

Objectives

To expose the youth, high school learners, to various options open to them.
To facilitate person-to-person interaction between employers in specific fields and the youth on career related issues.
To create an information platform for young people to broaden their horizons in terms of career goals and options, this includes both traditional employment and self-employment.
To facilitate person-to-person interaction between still-at-school youth and potential employers, training institutions and employment agencies.
To contribute to the stepping up of career guidance/ counselling facilities in disadvantaged schools.
To contribute to the capacitating of teachers for career guidance and counselling purposes.
